CoachOS, Inc. (“CoachOS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our coaching platform services accessible at coachosapp.com (the “Platform”).

1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account data: Name, email address, password, and profile information when you register for a CoachOS account.
- Early access requests: Name, email, business type, and message content submitted via early access or waitlist forms.
- Billing information: Payment card details and billing address, processed securely by our payment processor (Stripe). CoachOS does not store raw payment card data.
- Course and content data: Courses, lessons, videos, quizzes, and other content you create or upload on the Platform.
- Student records: Enrollment data, progress records, completion certificates, and communications associated with your students.
- Payment history: Records of transactions, payouts, refunds, and subscription history associated with your account.
- Communications: Emails, support tickets, and messages you send to CoachOS.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, click-through data, and referral sources.
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and time zone.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the CoachOS Platform and its features.

- Service providers: We work with third-party vendors (e.g., Stripe for payments, Mux for video, Resend for email, Supabase for database, Cloudflare for security) who need access to your information to provide services on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of CoachOS, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or compliance purposes.
Course data, student records, and payment history associated with your account are retained for the duration of your active account. You may export this data at any time via your account settings.

Despite our safeguards, no security measure is completely impenetrable. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant supervisory authorities as required by law.
7. International Data Transfers
CoachOS operates from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including through standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers from the European Economic Area.

9. Children's Privacy
The CoachOS Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
